"The best deterrent that we have against acts of terrorism is to find out who is conspiring, who has the material, where they are getting it, who they are talking to, and what are their plans. In order to do that, in order to interdict the terrorists before they set off their weapon, you have to have that kind of intelligence-gathering capability, but it runs smack into our constitutional protections of privacy. And it's a tension which will continue to exist in every free society - the reconciliation of the need for liberty and the need for law and order....that once these weapons start to be exploded people will say, "Protect us. We're willing to give up some of our liberties and some of our freedoms, but you must protect us." And that is what will lead us into this 21st century, this kind of Constitutional tension of how much protection can we provide and still preserve essential liberties."

SECRETARY OF DEFENSE WILLIAM S. COHEN, DEFENSE VIEWPOINT, DECEMBER 1, 1998

"One can envision the development of electromagnetic energy sources, the output of which can be pulsed, shaped, and focused, that can couple with the human body in a fashion that will allow one to prevent voluntary muscular movements, control emotions (and thus actions), produce sleep, transmit suggestions, interfere with both short-term and long-term memory, produce an experience set, and delete an experience set. It would also appear possible to create high fidelity speech in the human body, raising the possibility of covert suggestion and psychological direction...Thus, it may be possible to 'talk' to selected adversaries in a fashion that would be most disturbing to them."

Know what the Military is Capable of before they use it

Currently the Air Force and military have the capacity to use electromagnetic fields to prevent muscular movements, control emotions, sleep, transmit suggestions, interfere with memory and produce and delete "experience sets." They can disrupt heart rhythms, stop the heart and control blood pressure and metabolism. Using electromagnetic fields they can produce headaches, nausea, confusion, depressive anxiety, the well-being of a meditative state, agitated anxiety, fear and hostile aggression. The computer virus, "Russian Virus 666", has the capacity to put a person into a trance. It can be used to induce a heart attack or alter perceptions. It can be used in television or any sort of visual broadcast. These fields can produce visual, acoustic, and tactile sensations in man as well as emotional states similar to narcosis to excited states reaching epilepsy. We have the technology to allow a deaf person to hear, but it's being used instead by the military to trigger assassins and drive people mad with voices in their head.

In 1980 John B. Alexander of the U.S. Army, said, "Mind-altering techniques designed to impact opponents are well-advanced. The procedures employed include manipulation of human behavior through the use of psychological weapons affecting sight, sound, smell, temperature, electromagnetic energy or sensory deprivation." (p.100) The U.S. Navy has the capacity to produce the same effects as psychoactive drugs using electromagnetic fields. Dr. Smirnov of Russia described the "Zombie Effect" created by the new weapons of war. He describes how a person's self is blocked and a new identity can be programmed with various programmed urges such as killing oneself.

Given the allegations of ritual abuse survivors and other citizens, military veterans, claiming to be survivors of the extreme abuse inflicted by the C.I.A.'s MKULTRA experiments, it's good to know how far the military has come in their research of Psychological Warfare. I also recommend "The Search for the Manchurian Candidate" by John Marks.

Controlling the Human Mind, is a good study on the pro's and con's of neural and EM research.

As an author myself, I appreciated the great coherency and the many applied concepts, all supported by detail, which tied the whole book together. Its a rare book. Yes, the dark approach to neural manipulation and mind and body control, by unseen electromagnetic wave and radio frequency weapons, are real forces for all of humanity to deal with. As Orwell's 1984 is mentioned, I say that 1984 will more fully arrive in 2024, arriving a bit late.

Aluminum hat time folks!

Good God almighty! I didn't know it was this bad. I had to read this just a few pages at a time and check the infinite number of sources he posts to support his data. Thank you Nick for your bravery and thoroughness.

The technologies to affect the human mind and body

A very important work, with documentation of the technologies that the power elites prefer not to talk about. There are, in fact, scientific articles and patents on this topic dating back many decades. There is a description of the principles of technologies designed to affect in various ways the human mind and body, and therefore the human person. This is, according to the author, based on the principle of electromagnetic resonance, a phenomenon found not only in the brain but actually in every cell in the body.

While there are potentials for using this to improve health, these technologies have unfortunately been either weaponized for use by governments, or applied by the private sector to induce people to behave - and therefore to spend - in certain ways thanks to the remote manipulation of the emotions.

Excellent info easy to understand

Very easy to understand and informative. The first half of this book is superb and deserves five stars but there are some later chapters that are more opinion than science and a lot of advertising pages in the back...That's why I be only given four stars and not five. Definitely worth a read though....If a little on the expensive side !
